Hello Beautiful!
It’s that time of the year where all you see are hearts, hearts and more hearts! Small hearts, big hearts, pink hearts, red hearts, glittery hearts, matte hearts. An extra special day designed just to celebrate love! Yes, it’s Valentine day! Back when I was younger, we used to play these little games where the entire class was given this color code:
- Red: You have a Valentine and you’re in “looooooove”!
- Pink: You have a crush and are too shy to let the person know! I don’t remember if the boys ever wore pink! š
- White: You’re happy and not looking for anyone/anything OR it’s all hush hush š !
- Black: You want to boycott Valentine’s Day and you absolutely detest the day! š¦
That was back in the good ol’ days! What fun, I say! Coming back to now, Boston has had several bouts of snow this past week and the temperatures don’t seem to be getting any warmer for the days leading up to Valentine’s day, with V-Day looking super dooper cold (I think I just managed to sound like a Weather Reporter š )! Anyhow, keeping in line with the colors of the most romantic month of the year (and the coooollldd! Brrrrr!), all I can think of is red, pink and keeping myself warm for a day out with my love!
I’m taking the minimalist’s route this Valentine’s day! Keeping it simple and warm and comfortable! An outfit that can be put together easily, requiring little to no effort.Ā I teamed a dull pink dress with a red coat and super soft pink scarf to go with it! I’ve been obsessing over the red coat ‘A’ wore on the TV show, Pretty Little Liars. I was in ā¤ with it and I WANTED it! We looked and finally found something that came quite close(YAY!!)! The rose gold watch and the chain with a pearl and a little heart just added the extra touch that was needed when the coat came off! š
