Is it just me or is this year flying by?! I vividly remember the first day of 2017 like it was yesterday. *Sigh* Looking back at the months gone by, I’m amazed by the experiences gained, memories made, places travelled and most of all, fears conquered. I’m also saddened at the thought of things I could’ve done or done better. *That’s the semi-perfectionist in me talking! ;)* But HEY! Life is about wearing that perfect shade of lipstick and moving forward, right? 🙂 The only time you should be looking back is to learn from past mistakes and nothing more. Regrets have no place in our lives.

Talking about time, I’m among those who pull out their phones to check the time even when they have a watch on their hands! *Don’t ask me why I do that, I just do! =)* But when you have that beautifully crafted wood watch on your hand, that changes! A wood watch, you ask? YES!! I’m stoked to be collaborating with JORD watches! THEY MAKE THEEEEE MOST BEAUTIFULLY CRAFTED WOODEN WATCHES!!

Life is but a roller coaster ride and we must run with the bulls, that I have learnt to do well. A thousand beautiful stories that strike a chord somewhere deep within you.

An aroma that awakens your tired soul.

A myriad tastes that linger on making you want for more.

All this behind a sip of finely crafted wine! The nuances that go into making each bottle of wine is beautiful to understand and to know. To be completely honest, I was never a wine aficionado. The more varieties of wine I had, the more I began to appreciate it! There’s SO much to know about wine that it can be quiet intimidating to begin with. It was embarrassing to not be able to tell which wine goes with what types of food and growing up, I always imagined wine to be an “adult” drink (Don’t ask me what it means because right now I cant begin to explain it! 😉 😉 ). But as you go along, you can’t help but want to learn more about the art of wine making. What better way to start than to visit a vineyard and Newport Vineyards was our choice. Hello everyone!

Think trench coats and what comes to my mind is Holly Golightly and her cat!! 🙂 Audrey Hepburn made this piece of clothing unforgettable for me in “Breakfast at Tiffany’s”! Not to forget the beautiful Marlene Dietrich in “A Foreign Affair” and the uber-chic Jackie Kennedy! Once used by men during the World War to help brave the damp weather conditions, some of these women helped bring the trench coat, accredited to be designed by Thomas Burberry, to a stylish and must have piece.
