How would you like your Trench Coat?

Hello everyone!

Think trench coats and what comes to my mind is Holly Golightly and her cat!! 🙂 Audrey Hepburn made this piece of clothing unforgettable for me in “Breakfast at Tiffany’s”! Not to forget the beautiful Marlene Dietrich in “A Foreign Affair” and the uber-chic Jackie Kennedy! Once used by men during the World War to help brave the damp weather conditions, some of these women helped bring the trench coat, accredited to be designed by Thomas Burberry, to a stylish and must have piece.

Perfect time to wear the trench: Best suited for transitional weather, the trench coat is a classic piece in your wardrobe that you will love for seasons to come. Like that old pair of jeans that you want to keep forever and for always, the trench coat will give you that same warm feeling! 🙂

How you can wear the trench: The versatility of the trench coat is what I love most. You can team an olive trench coat with a cute button down shirt, boyfriend jeans, sneakers, aviators and messy hair to go for a laid back, street style look during the day OOORRRR you can team a black trench with an LBD, pretty red stilettos and a bun paired with some gorgeous jewelry for that vintage look! There’s so much you can do with a good trench!

The fact that the trench coat has survived this long with each era having its own spin to it’s style yet maintaining the original structural integrity gives me reason enough to believe that this is a wardrobe staple! 🙂 Plus, it adds an oomph factor to any outfit!
