Another Year Gone By…

Another year has passed and I can’t help but wonder how fast the year has sped past on. Can you remember the first hour of 2018? I can like it was yesterday – and it was such a wonderful feeling ringing in the new year in a place I never thought I’d be. It was special, it was heart wrenching, it was amazing and it was sad. I’m a mixed bundle of emotions at New Year’s – the retrospection of the past year mixed with the exciting unwritten journey ahead makes my head spin in different directions. I remember bringing in 2018 thinking that this year was going to difficult but it was also going to be one of the best there was. Novembrella x JORD Watches!

Is it just me or is this year flying by?! I vividly remember the first day of 2017 like it was yesterday. *Sigh* Looking back at the months gone by, I’m amazed by the experiences gained, memories made, places travelled and most of all, fears conquered. I’m also saddened at the thought of things I could’ve done or done better. *That’s the semi-perfectionist in me talking! ;)* But HEY! Life is about wearing that perfect shade of lipstick and moving forward, right? 🙂 The only time you should be looking back is to learn from past mistakes and nothing more. Regrets have no place in our lives.

Talking about time, I’m among those who pull out their phones to check the time even when they have a watch on their hands! *Don’t ask me why I do that, I just do! =)* But when you have that beautifully crafted wood watch on your hand, that changes! A wood watch, you ask? YES!! I’m stoked to be collaborating with JORD watches! THEY MAKE THEEEEE MOST BEAUTIFULLY CRAFTED WOODEN WATCHES!!

I cannot stop crushing over the color pink!!!! I try and I try and I try, but I can’t stop falling in love! I’ve incorporated a little bit of pink in my everyday little things! Hello Beautiful!

It’s that time of the year where all you see are hearts, hearts and more hearts! Small hearts, big hearts, pink hearts, red hearts, glittery hearts, matte hearts. An extra special day designed just to celebrate love! Yes, it’s Valentine day! Back when I was younger, we used to play these little games where the entire class was given this color code:

Red: You have a Valentine and you’re in “looooooove”!
Pink: You have a crush and are too shy to let the person know! I don’t remember if the boys ever wore pink! 😉
White: You’re happy and not looking for anyone/anything OR it’s all hush hush 😉 !
